Barceló Bilbao Nervión

Location was superb - right by the river and between the old town on one side and the Guggenheim on the other. The room was very comfortable and room service was good value, a varied menu and delivered promptly. The staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. Breakfast was fantastic, a good range of options and beautifully cooked/presented. I was delighted to find a hotel buffet breakfast toaster that actually worked and toasted bread very efficiently (I rarely find this in hotels!). The hotel decor was beautiful - contemporary style matched with comfort. Highly recommend this hotel especially in terms of cost compared with other four star hotels in the city.

Barceló Nervión is perfectly located to explore the centre of Bilbao, the museums and shops. Inspite of this location it is very quiet. Staff was very friendly and professional. The interior of the house is, as in all Barceló hotels, gorgeous and tasteful. My single room was small (of course) but very comfy. I did not have breakfast but I suppose the price is alright.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. The staff were attentive, helpful, and friendly throughout our visit. The hotel is well located, the room was well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the name of the kind and professional lady who welcomed us at reception on our first day, but we’d like to extend a special thank you to her – we truly felt welcomed from the very beginning. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return in the future.

The location of the hotel is perfect, everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. The service was exceptional and the cleanliness of the rooms was spot on. We found the rooms a good size although the showers were a little small. We didnt use any of the facilities bit the staff were very helpful and we had a brilliant stay.

It is a beautiful property . The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect as it’s within walking distance to the old town and the Guggenheim museum. The breakfast buffet is impressive. The staff are professional and helpful.
